Literature Text
I want to scream
but I'll only whisper.
I want to run
but i'll stand there waiting.
I want to rip out my heart
lay it at your feet
open armed
open mind
totally exposed
hoping you'll take me in.
But i'll smile
and walk away.
but I'll only whisper.
I want to run
but i'll stand there waiting.
I want to rip out my heart
lay it at your feet
open armed
open mind
totally exposed
hoping you'll take me in.
But i'll smile
and walk away.

This poem is about the dualism between what a person truly feels, as opposed to how they act in public, around friends and family who they do not wish to worry.
When you just want to scream for help, but not wanting to let loose your burdens on someone else.

A girl's lament, well exposed and raw, love it!
